The weather in Atlanta is getting hotter each day. As a new transplant in this city, I am learning to adjust to the weather and reorganize my closet to fit the hot season. Over the weekend, I was invited to attend a BBQ event. By the time I was done dressing up at 10 AM, the temperature had increased to 95°F, then I decided to change my top to a Tied Backless Cow Print Crisscross Halter Top.

The reason I changed my top, was because it was very hot and I needed to wear something that will keep me cool throughout the day. Then, I paired it with a That’s Game Cargo Denim Joggers – Cognac. I did not want to wear anything on my bottom that was too revealing. To balance this outfit, it was best to wear a pant that fully covered my bottom.
For accessories, my goal was to keep it simple and lightweight. I wore a COW PRINT open heeled sandals and carried a lightweight Straw tote bag. This sums up the entire look. Typically, I would never wear a crisscross top like this because it is too revealing. But I am not going to lie, it is very hot in Atlanta, and I am looking for new ways to style my outfits and still create a balanced look.
