Ingredients:
-
Ginger powder
-
6 teaspoon of peanut butter or 1/4 cup peanut powder substitute with ground peanuts (groundnuts). (Note : Use a squeeze cloth to remove excess oil from the groundnuts before using it).
-
2 small cubes Maggie or Knorr (seasoning cube) or Beef Knorr powder
-
2 tablespoons red pepper
-
Crushed red pepper
-
1 teaspoon salt
-
1 tablespoon garlic powder
-
onion powder
-
1 or 2 teaspoon ground white pepper
-
2 or more tablespoon paprika
Preparation Steps :
-
Combine all the ingredients in a small blender cup or coffee grinder then blend them together. As shown in this video all the ingredients were bought already grounded and mixed manually. ( I recommend that you ground your peanuts to get a better taste ).
-
Pass the blended ingredients through a fine sieve (optional step).
-
Put in a container and for future use. You could also freeze it if you want.
-
Carefully place your fish on your bamboo.
-
Use this suya spice to rub on fillets tilapia fish (as demonstrated in the video) .
-
Preheat oven to 375 or 425 degrees F.
-
Leave your tilapia fish suya in the oven for 25-30 mins max ( you can leave it for a minimum for15 mins).
-
Cut out onions and a mix of different colors of bell pepper (paprika) .
-
Serve your Fish Suya!
