Friendship in the age of social media has created some misconception between real friends versus online friends. Life experiences have taught me always to keep a tight circle. I love the idea of being your sister keeper and brother keeper.
What should I be looking for in a friend?
Ask yourself this question . Do we even ask this question anymore?
- Grounded friendship is set on people that willing to uplift you (me). Friendship is a two-way street.
- God-fearing friends are vital. These do not mean practicing a religious ritual. But people that understand the value of loving one’s neighbor and as his/her self.
- It is wise to have elderly friends. They are great mentors, and life coach too.
- Friends can stem from other individuals that share similar interests, goals, vision, etc.
